WICB director quits

President of the West Indies Players Association Dinanath Ramnarine has quit as director of the West Indies Cricket Board.



Ramnarine’s resignation comes amidst reports that the West Indies team failed to show at a cocktail reception last night, ahead of the opening One-Day International of the five-match series against England tomorrow.



Ramnarine announced his resignation at a press conference in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad earlier today.
