England batting first after winning the toss were 216 for five at Sports Time in the first One-Day International against West Indies at the National Stadium in Guyana.
Rain had stopped play in the 37th over with England at 190 for three.
The batsmen at the crease are Paul Collingwood on 54 and Matt Prior on zero.
Dwayne Bravo has so far taken two wickets.
