Pollard and Dwayne Bravo took two wickets each for the West Indies.
James Anderson, three for 37, and Paul Collingwood three for 49, were the most successful bowers for the visitors.
The teams will now travel to Barbados for the next two games on Friday and Sunday at Kensington Oval. The final match will take place at the Beausejour Cricket Ground in St Lucia on April 3.
