Portmore United/Harbour View remain on top
Defending champions Portmore United and Harbour View are still locked atop the Digicel Premier League following the 24th round of matches yesterday.
Portmore United were held to a goalless draw by 10th place Meadhaven United at Constant Spring field, while 11th place Reno came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Harbour View at Frome in Westmoreland.
Both teams are locked on 54 points, seven ahead of third place Boys’ Town, who earned a 1-1 draw against Rivoli United at Spanish Town Prison Oval
In other games, fifth place St Georges and Sporting Central Academy played to a one-all draw at Lynch Park in Portland, while bottom place Village United and sixth place Waterhouse battled to a goalless draw at Elliston Wakeland Centre.
The game between Tivoli Gardens and Arnett Gardens was postponed because of the funeral service of Mario Mullings, a staff member of Tivoli Gardens.
At the time of his death he was employed at the ticket office of the Edward Seaga Stadium.
