Sharpes surge ahead

Sharpes have surged ahead in the points’ standings following the opening weekend of matches in the Jamaica Hockey Federation’s Women’s sevens tournament at the Mona hockey field.



Sharpes have so far accumulated eight points following two victories and two draws from their four matches.



During yesterday’s round of matches, Sharpes defeated Tropics 1-0 and then battled to a 1-1 draw with Excelsior in a late match.



University of Technology are in second place on five points followed by Tropics and St Andrew Two on four points each, Excelsior on three and St Andrew One on a point.



The competition concludes this weekend.
