No West Indies players have made the Women’s World Cup Team of the Tournament while five from champions England made the list at the conclusion of the International Cricket Council event yesterday.

The West Indies finished fifth in the tournament with a record of two wins against five losses.

England defeated New Zealand by four wickets at North Sydney Oval in Australia yesterday and picked up their first Women’s World Cup cricket title in 16 years.

Captain Charlotte Edwards heads the English girls on the All-Star selection. She is also captain of the Team of the Tournament.

Runners-up New Zealand earned two picks; India got three picks and Australia one.
