St Lucia’s Petroleum Dealers and the government have reached a compromise on a dealers’ request for an increase in their profit margins.
The President of the Petroleum Dealers Association, Clinton Charlery, said Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Stephenson King will be making an announcement on the issue shortly.
The association president says this means that the threat of strike action by the dealers has been removed.
He said the government’s commitment in effect brings closure to the issue.
