Jamaica struggle on final day

Tournament leaders Jamaica, set 312 to win their 11th round regional four-day match against Combined Campuses and Colleges at Sabina Park were struggling on 56 for four at lunch on today’s final day of the contest.



The batsmen at the crease are David Bernard on nine and Wavell Hinds on three.



Earlier, Combined Campuses and Colleges, who trailed Jamaica by 58 runs on first innings points, declared their second innings at 369 for eight after resuming on 326 for six.



Off spinner Bevon Brown was the most successful bowler for Jamaica with five for 59.



Scores are Combined Campuses and Colleges 171 and 369 for eight declared, Jamaica 229 and 56 for four.



Trinidad and Tobago, ahead of the Windward Islands by 104 runs on first innings, were bowled out for 168 on the stroke of lunch.



The Windward Island have been set 273 to win from a minimum of 63 overs.
