The Board of Directors of financially troubled CLICO in Guyana wants the High Court to nullify or amend the role of the judicial manager of the company Maria Van Beek.
The Board is also asking the High Court to uphold the suspension of the Chief Executive Officer, Geeta Singh-Knight.
It wants disciplinary action to be taken against the CEO as they say she fired more than 40 workers and closed several offices across Guyana without the approval of the directors.
The High Court also has to decide whether it will scrap Ms Singh-Knight\'s termination of more than 40 employees.
