St Georges win Under 16 crown

St George’s College defeated Herbert Morrison Technical of Montego Bay 66-49 yesterday to win the replayed final of the KFC/Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association National final.
The match was played at the National Stadium courts.
Stefano Leslie led the Kingston-based school with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.
He was supported by Khaleel Smith with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Dane Griffiths with 10 points and 16 rebounds.
Jervis Hamilton top scored for Herbert Morrison Technical with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Jamoi Richards had 11 points and Kedar Clarke, nine points.
