STETHS, Vere advance to semis

St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) and Vere Technical won their replayed quarterfinal play-off games yesterday to secure the last two semi-final spots in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Grace Headley Cup.
They will now join Port Antonio and Rusea’s in the semifinals.
STETHS qualified following an easy six-wicket victory over Manchester in their play-off match at Alpart.
Manchester sent in to bat were bowled out for 33 and STETHS replied with 35 for four.
Over at GC Foster College, Vere Technical defeated Charlemont by three wickets to advance.
Charlemont batted first and made 133 and Vere Technical replied with 134 for seven.
