Leeward Islands, replying to Combined Campuses and Colleges’ first innings total of 519, reached 520 for six at lunch on today’s final day of their 12th round Regional Four-day match at Grove Park.
Devon Thomas is 41 not out.
Runako Morton has so far top scored for Leeward Islands with 231.
Over at Queen’s Park Oval, Guyana, leading hosts Trinidad and Tobago by 23 runs on first innings, were 129 for three at the lunch break in their second innings.
Narsingh Deonarine is undefeated on 35.
The day’s other 12th round game ended yesterday with tournament leaders Jamaica suffering a three-wicket defeat to Windward Islands.
The defeat left Jamaica with only four points from the match but still virtually assured of the George Headley/Everton Weekes Trophy with 94 points.
And Windward Islands moved into second place on 75 points.
The series is level at 2-2 after the matches in Guyana and Barbados.
