Two team sprint showdowns between a Usain Bolt-led Jamaica team and the best athletes from the United States will take place in 2010.

Two events - one in each country are planned for May and June next year.

The meets will include men and women competing in the 100, 200 and 400 metres, two hurdles distances, three relays and the long jump.

The Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association (JAAA) and USA Track and Field confirmed the meets today.

The Beijing Olympics last year showcased a showdown between Jamaican and US sprinters, with the Jamaicans coming out on top.
