Australia beat South Africa

Nathan Hauritz took four for 29 as Australia bowled hosts South Africa out for 145 in 33 point one overs to win the first One-Day International by 141 runs at Kingsmead today.
Graeme Smith top scored for South Africa with 52 runs.
Batting first, Australia scored 286 for seven, led by Michael Hussey’s 83 not out off 79 balls. Brad Haddin added 53 to help post a competitive total.
Bowling for South Africa, Dale Steyn had two for 45, Morne Morkel two for 61 and Makhaya Ntini one for 67.
The second of five one-dayers is on Sunday at Centurion.
