Jamaica finish 23rd at Junior Champs

Jamaica finished 23rd at the 2009 Quiksilver International Surfing Association World Junior Championships which ended yesterday in Salinas, Ecuador.



Team Australia walked away with the gold medal in a dramatic finish. It was the fourth gold medal for the Aussies at the championships.



2005 World Junior Champions Hawaii took the silver medal, Brazil won the bronze and USA the copper.



France ended in fifth place.



The Jamaicans are scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow.
