Tiger Woods to play in Masters

Tiger Woods plans to go into this week’s Masters without playing one full practice round.
Cold and windy conditions in the build-up to the first major of the year have brought the world number one’s usual on-course preparations right down.
Woods played 11 holes on Sunday, five late yesterday and none today. He said his intention is to play only nine tomorrow.
Fans at Augusta will have to wait a long time to see him in Thursday’s opening round and even longer for Northern Ireland teenage Rory McLlroy.
Woods, who returned in February from an eight-month injury, tees off in the penultimate three-ball with fellow American Stewart Cink and India’s Jeev Milkha Singh.
