Jamaica beat Guyana

Reigning champions Jamaica defeated Guyana by two wickets in a rain-affected match to continue their perfect record in the West Indies Under-15 championships being played in Trinidad and Tobago.



The match took place at the National Cricket Centre.



Batting first, Guyana were dismissed for 143 off 44 overs against the bowling of John Campbell two for 22, Ashan Plumber two for 25 and Brian Gayle two for 31.



Jamaica had their target adjusted to 115 off 40 overs and reached their total for the loss of eight wickets off 33 point 4 overs with Brandon King getting 25.



Shaquille Williams was the most successful bowler for Guyana with four for 16.



At Inshan Ali Park, Trinidad and Tobago claimed their first win by beating Windward Islands by 34 runs.



The other game between Barbados and Leeward Islands ended prematurely at the Queen’s Park Oval. Barbados set 176 to win were 11 for one in the fourth over when rain ruined the match.
