US captain held hostage by hijackers

The captain of US vessel has been held hostage by Somalian hijackers, even though the crew members have retaken control of the vessel.
Captain Richard Phillips is being held in the vessel\'s 28-foot lifeboat of the coast of Somalia.
US officials have started negotiations for his release.
