Wayne Chai Chong will continue to serve as president of the Jamaica Golf Association following the Annual General Meeting earlier this week at the Sports Development Foundation.

Chong’s position was not up for re-election as he only took up the post last year. He is scheduled to serve for two years.

Meanwhile, Vice President Peter Chin was returned unopposed to serve another two years.

Also returning were assistant secretary Lieza Munn Blakeley and Junior Golf Chairman Vikram. Dhiman is currently spearheading the organizing committee for the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships, which will run from July 5 to 10 at Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Montego Bay.

The executive committee also includes treasurer Rory Robinson; secretary Orville Marshall and Ladies Sub-Committee Chairman Rowena Coe.
