Eltham in control in Grace Shield Final

Defending champions Eltham High are in total control against St Catherine rivals Innswood High on today’s last day of the ISSA/Grace Shield final at Melbourne Oval.



Eltham High, who won the crucial first innings points on yesterday’s second day of the three-day final, were 266 for six at Sports Time, a lead of 446 runs.



Eltham resumed this morning on 150 for one.



During yesterday’s penultimate day, Innswood High replying to Eltham High’s first innings total of 357 were bowled out for 177 after resuming on 15 without loss.



Eltham High are searching for a record fifth consecutive Grace Shield title.
