Beijing Olympic triple gold medalist, Usain Bolt said he does not use marijuana.
On Sunday, the Jamaican sprinter was quoted in a German tabloid as saying he smoked marijuana when he was a child and learned how to roll a joint.
In a statement released yesterday, Bolt said he tried marijuana at a tender age but hasn’t smoked it since.
Bolt also apologised for suggesting all young Jamaicans roll joints and urged young athletes not to do drugs of any kind.
Bolt set world records in the 100 and 200 metres at the Beijing Olympics and was part of the Jamaican team that broke the world record in the 400-metre relay.
