Jamaica take unbeatable lead

Jamaica cruised to an easy 43 to 29 victory over England last night to take an unbeatable 2-nil lead in their three-match Under-21 netball series at GC Foster College in Spanish Town.



The young Sunshine Girls won the opening game 59 to 33 on Monday.



Crystal Gordon led the way for Jamaica again with 28 goals from 36 attempts, while Christina Solmon had 14 from 19 and Vanessa Walker scored one from three attempts.



For England, Jo Harten ended with 21 from 33; Monique Wood scored 6 from 10 and Rosie Allison two from nine.



The third game will take place tomorrow at the same venue.



The teams are preparing for the World Youth Championships, which will be staged, in the Cook Islands from August 11 to 19.
