Australia against South Africa

South Africa, replying to Australia’s score of 303 for seven, were 17 without loss after five overs in the fifth and final one-day international at Wanderers Stadium in South Africa.



Earlier, Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin put on a 127-run opening stand for Australia to set up their big total.



Clarke smashed 10 boundaries to score 66 and Haddin hit seven fours and a six for 62 as the pair gave the Australians a fast start.



Also getting among the runs for Australia were Michael Hussey 49 not out, Callum Ferguson 41 and Ricky Ponting 40.



Part-time spinner J.P. Duminy was the most successful bowler for South Africa with three for 48, while left-arm spinner Roelof van der Merwe chipped in with two for 44.



South Africa leads three to one to have already clinched the series.
