St Elizabeth Technical High School, STETHS, are well poised to claim a third straight hold on the rural area ISSA/Grace Headley Cup title on today’s final day of the three-day final.

The game is being played at Chedwin Park in St Catherine.

With a first innings lead of 164 over Port Antonio High, STETHS batting a second time were 269 for six at Sports Time after resuming this morning on 180 for five.

They now lead Port Antonio High by 433 runs with Paul Palmer undefeated on 103.

Horace Grossett and Jamion Gray have so far taken two wickets apiece.

STETHS took the crucial first innings points after dismissing Port Antonio High for 116 on yesterday’s second day. Port Antonio High were chasing STETHS’ first innings total of 280.

STETHS are searching for the double after defeating Manchester High to lift the Knockout title earlier in the season.
