CLICO Belize under judicial management

Another branch of the insurance company CLICO has been placed under judicial management.



The Supreme Court in Belize has appointed a judicial manager for the embattled company.



Since January CLICO branches across the region have either been taken over by government or liquidated.



The decisions were taken after the parent company, Trinidad based CL Financial, was taken over by the government.



Last week the Bahamas Supreme Court ordered that the CLICO branch there be wound up.
