ALBA electronic currency

Member countries of Venezuela\'s Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas are planning to create a regional electronic currency.
The system should be in circulation by January one, 2010.
The leaders of the Venezuela\'s Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas member states met in Caracas yesterday to sign an accord creating the currency called the sucre.
President Hugo Chavez says they should be ready to begin some pilot projects for exchange with that virtual currency in September.
