Burger King championships
Camarsh Crumbie easily beat Phillip Bond six-one, six-one to take the Boys’ Under-18 title on yesterday’s final day of the Burger King Interscholastic Tennis Championships at Eric Bell Centre.
The girls’ Under-18 crown went to Siquena Sinclair who defeated Shantal Blackwood six-one, seven-five.
The Girls’ Under-16 final was won by Shelita Haughton, who beat Sarah Orett six-zero, six-three; while Micheal-Ann Denton defeated Shadae Findley six-two, six-three to take the Girls Under-14 final.
Shae-Ann Kameka beat Shaedae Nickel eight-two in the Girls Under-12 final.
The Boys’ Under-16 final was won by Daniel Harris, who defeated Andy Bicknell six-one, five-seven, six-two, while Maiz Sinclair turned back Luke Therrien six-four, two-six, six-one to take the Boys’ Under-14 final.
Roger Lyn outclassed James Cruise six-one, six-nil to take the Boys Under-12 title.
