Banks leads Somerset to victory

Leeward Islands and West Indies all-rounder Omari Banks collected three wickets yesterday to help Somerset register a 110-run victory over Kent in England’s Friends Provident Trophy at Taunton’s County Ground.
Sent to bat in a rain-reduced game, Somerset scored a challenging 291 for three off 38 overs.
Needing 292 for victory, Kent were bowled out for 181 off 33 point one overs with Banks getting three wickets for 40 off eight overs and Alfonso Thomas three for 38.
