Jamaica beat Cayman

Reigning champions Jamaica outclassed the Cayman Islands 66 to five last night to stay unbeaten in the Caribbean Netball Association’s Jean Pierre Youth Under-16 Championships, being played at the Leila Robinson Courts in Kingston.



Marvadeen Anderson led Jamaica to victory with 49 goals from 58 attempts, while Deneen Taylor had 13 from 19 and Thristina Harwood two from four.



For the Cayman Islands, Liana Benjamin scored four from eight attempts and Kiana Rankien got one from 13.



In another game last night, Trinidad and Tobago flattened Guyana 66 to five to join Jamaica and Barbados as joint leaders.



Day four of the competition takes place today with Jamaica facing Barbados in the feature game, beginning at 6:45 p.m.



The remaining games are Dominica against Guyana at 6 p.m. and St Lucia facing Trinidad and Tobago at 6:15.
