Pakistan in strong position to beat Australia

Pakistan are in a very strong position to beat Australia in the third One-Day International at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in United Arab Emirates.



The Pakistanis needing 199 to win were 111 for four after 26 overs.



Earlier, Pakistan\'s spinners again proved effective by restricting Australia to 198 for seven wickets in their allotted 50 overs.



Although pace bowler Umar Gul claimed three wickets, legspinner Shahid Afridi took two for 31 and offspinner Shoaib Malik one for 22 to tie down the Australians in the middle overs.



Australia captain Michael Clarke scored the only half-century, hitting 66 off 93 balls with eight fours, while Callum Ferguson made 41.



The five-match series is tied at one all.
