West Indies captain Chris Gayle scored only 12 as Kolkata Knight Riders were 39 for two after five overs replying to Mumbai’s 182 for eight in their Indian Premier League match at St George’s Park in South Africa.
Sachin Tendulkar top scored for Mumbai with 68 while Sanath Jayasuriya made 52.
Meanwhile, the Deccan Chargers with West Indies players Dwayne Smith and Fidel Edwards won their fourth straight match today, beating the Chennai Super Kings by six wickets at Kingsmead.
Edwards took one for 21 from four overs as Chennai were restricted to 165 for five off their allotted 20 overs.
Deccan won with three balls to spare, ending on 169 for four with Herschelle Gibbs top scoring with an undefeated 69 while Adam Gilchrist supported with 44. West Indies all-rounder Smith scored 12 runs from five balls.
