Bird wants state of economy report

Antiguan Opposition Leader Lester Bird is reiterating calls for Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer to disclose the state of the Antigua and Barbuda economy.



Mr Bird said while he acknowledges the serious difficulties facing the global economy, Antiguans should not be fooled into believing that the country’s problems are due to global conditions.



According to him, some of the major issues that face the country are entirely due to mismanagement by the Government.
