Unbeaten Jamaica will attempt to move a step closer to retain their crown when they face Guyana this evening at 6.45 in the Caribbean Netball Association Jean Pierre Youth Under-16 Championship, being played at the Leila Robinson Courts.
The Jamaicans recorded their fourth straight victory by whipping previously unbeaten Barbados 54-19 last night to stay on course for their eighth title in nine appearances at the tournament.
Jamaica’s only defeat in the nine-year history of the tournament came in 2005 when Barbados defeated them and went on to capture the title.
The remaining games are Dominica against the Cayman Islands at 6 p.m. and Trinidad and Tobago facing Barbados at 6.15 p.m.
