Dr Donald Peters has resigned from the post of Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) with immediate effect.
A release from the WICB says the recruitment process to find a replacement has started.
Former Guyana captain and West Indies opener Stephen Camacho will act as the Chief Executive Officer.
Dr Peters’ resignation came 10 months after he was sent on administrative leave by the WICB after leaked information on the spending of money for renovations to president Dr Julian Hunte’s office in St Lucia.
However, no action was taken against Dr Peters after an investigation by the WICB.
