ISSA cancel Spalding Cup

The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) has cancelled the 2009 Spalding Cup play-off between Grace Headley Cup winner St Elizabeth Technical High School, STETHS, and Grace Shield champion Eltham High.
The game was scheduled to take place at STETHS’ home ground earlier this week but was postponed following a protest by Eltham High.
Eltham High were against playing the game at STETHS.
ISSA’s Competitions Officer George Forbes says the decision to cancel the game was taken at a special meeting yesterday.
