Rain stop WI/England Lions game
Jerome Taylor made up for his delayed arrival on West Indies\' tour with a three-wicket burst as England Lions, replying to West Indies’ score of 203, reached 115 for five before rain came on today’s second day of the four-day tour match.
The match is taking place at the County Ground in England.
The Jamaican fast bowler was given permission to join the tour late after injuring his hip in a car crash and only arrived on English soil earlier this week.
He lost no time in making an impression before next week\'s opening Test at Lord\'s by claiming three wickets in his first 12 balls of the tour.
Nelon Pascal and Dave Bernard had taken the other wickets.
Earlier, Bernard top scored for West Indies with 58 after the Caribbean side had resumed on 76 for four.
Ramnaresh Sarwan 31, Sulieman Benn 26, Darren Sammy 22 and Shivnarine Chanderpual 21 got starts but failed to carry on.
