Organisers of the Jamaica International Invitational, which will take place tomorrow at the National Stadium, are expecting the meet to produce many world-leading times.
Olympian and one of the meet’s organisers, Donald Quarrie, said the stage is set for a high quality meet despite the absence of Beijing Olympic triple gold medallist Usain Bolt, who is recovering from a car crash on Wednesday.
Quarrie further says the athletes are hoping that Bolt will be back on the track soon.
Bolt was treated for abrasions to his feet at the Spanish Town hospital after his 2009 BMW M3 Coupe ran off the road on Highway 2000 and crashed in a ditch near Spanish Town.
