At least 25 people are now dead following bomb attacks in two Afghanistan provinces.

Officials say a roadside bomb killed 12 civilians, mainly women and children in the southern province of Kabul.

They say a separate ambush killed six security workers.

According to the Interior Ministry, seven people including a mayor, a suicide bomber in Legman, an eastern province, killed bodyguards and villagers.

Officials say a 14 year old boy carried one of the bombings out.
