The government in Mexico says its considering reopening schools and businesses on Wednesday as a result of a drop in H1N1 influenza cases.
The five-day shutdown of the economy implemented last week is said to be affecting the country’s finances.
According to Mexican President Felipe Calderon the nationwide shutdown and aggressive information campaign appeared to have helped curtail the outbreak of the virus in Mexico.
