West Indies captain Chris Gayle arrived in England today to join up with the rest of the squad before Wednesday\'s first Test against England at Lord\'s.
The Jamaican was allowed to delay his arrival from South Africa to play another match for Kolkata Knight Riders\' in the Indian Premier League, IPL, yesterday.
West Indies coach John Dyson confirmed early this morning that Gayle is now in England.
Dyson added that strike bowler Fidel Edwards, who was also playing in the IPL, arrived in London yesterday.
Dyson was not happy with the decision for Gayle to remain in South Africa.
He says Gayle should have had a minimum four days to prepare for a Test match.
