Boys’ Town striker voted MVP

Boys’ Town striker Peter Keyes was voted the Most Valuable Player for the 2008-2009 Flow All-Island Champion Cup.



Keyes was presented with his award and a cheque valued 70 thousand dollars during the awards presentation at the Jamaica Football Federation’s New Kingston offices earlier this afternoon.



The in-form striker led Boys’ Town to a 3-nil victory over Tivoli Gardens in the Flow All-Island Champion Cup final on April 26 at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.



Boys’ Town coach Andrew Pryce was presented with 50 thousand dollars for leading his team to success. Pryce was also presented with the winners’ cheque of 600 thousand dollars and the Flow Champions Cup.



Tivoli Gardens received 300 thousand dollars for the runners-up spot.



Jermaine Anderson of Waterhouse, Gary McIntosh of Reno and the Rivoli United pair of Devon Hodges and Valentine Gardener walked away with the top goal scorer award.
