Wavell Hinds misses century again

Discarded West Indies batsman Wavell Hinds missed out on his second century yesterday as Derbyshire lost by six wickets to Essex in the Friends Provident Trophy at the County Ground in England.
The left-hander Jamaican, who slammed 95 on Sunday, stroked 81 to lead hosts Derbyshire to 192 for seven off their allotted 43 overs.
He faced 112 balls and hit seven fours and a six.
Varun Chopra then top scored with 69 in a 103-run third wicket with Matt Walker who got 37 to steer Essex to a comfortable 194 for four.
