Invitational tournament face off tomorrow

The second staging of the Peter Horrobin ProAm Invitational Golf tournament tees off tomorrow at the White Witch Golf Course in Montego Bay.
The tournament will run for five days. Tomorrow’s opening day features a ProAm one-day event, while the main competition gets underway on Wednesday with the 54-hole championship, a 71-par course tournament.
The winner will walk away with US$9,500 out of the US$25,000 purse.
Several other prizes are on offer to outstanding players in the tournament.
Apart from Jamaica, the tournament boasts players from Canada, USA, Curacao and Brazil.
Last year event was won by Hector Zapata of Colombia who scored 218 with rounds of 73, 70 and 75 last year.
Peter Horrobin was second, just one shot behind on 219.
