Digicel second Kick Start Clinic launched

Telecommunication firm Digicel today launched its youth football development programme, the second Digicel Kick Start Clinic.



The launch took place at the Barbican Football field in Kinston.



Reggae Boyz’ senior coach John Barnes will conduct the Clinics across the region.



The Digicel Kick Start Clinics will take place in six countries across the Caribbean in May and June.



The countries that will host Clinics are Jamaica, Barbados, Suriname, Haiti, Trinidad and St Kitts.



The Digicel Clinic will then move on to Central America where clinics will take place in Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador throughout August.



At the end of the Clinics the eight best Under 16 players from across the Caribbean region will be given the chance to train for a week with English club Sunderland in September.



The four best Central American Under 16 players will train with Liverpool in October for a week.
