Megamart upset Aqua

Newcomers Megamart Blazers scored an upset 70-64 victory over highly fancied Aqua Youths last night in the opening game of the Sports Development Commission/INSPORTS Southern Basketball League at the Stadium Courts.
Megamart Blazers were led to victory by Damion Richards with 25 points and Orlando Hibbert with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Colin Wright had 12 points for Aqua Youths.
Swift Sons ‘A’ got the better of Arnett Gardens 56-55 while Blazing Panthers beat Swift Sons B’ 70-62.
The competition continues later this afternoon with four games including UWI Basketball Club against Franklyn Town Blazers at 7.45 p.m.
