Kingston College defeat Campion
Kingston College defeated Campion College 3-0 yesterday at the Mona astro turf to earn their first victory in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-14 competition.
As a result of the victory, Kingston College have moved to three points and are second-from-the-bottom in Group ‘A’. Munro are atop the points’ table on six points from two games.
In another Group ‘A’ game, second place Mona High and third place Wolmer’s Boy played to a 1-1 draw.
In Group ‘B’, Jamaica College beat Excelsior High 2-0 to hold on to the lead with six points.
In the girls’ competition, Mona High edged St Hughs 1-0. The victory put Mona atop Group ‘A’ with six points.
In Group ‘B’, Papine scored a 1-0 victory over Immaculate Conception to move to the top of the table.
The competition continues tomorrow.
