Chris Gayle has again threatened to step down from the post of West Indies captain.
Gayle told the Guardian newspaper in Britain yesterday he was never comfortable with the job and had initially agreed to take it on a temporary basis.
The Jamaican left-hander said the captaincy role has been very tough. He said it got tougher since the West Indies lost the opening Test to England inside three days.
Gayle was heavily criticized for his decision to arrive so close to the start of the game.
Gayle said the captain usually gets the blame when things are not going well.
The Jamaican left-hander further said he prefers to play Twenty/Twenty cricket over Test cricket.
Gayle, 29, further said there is a possibility he might quit Test cricket soon.
