The Western Basketball Association (WBA) has expelled Warrior from the 2009 Lucozade Sports men’s competition following a disciplinary hearing.
The team was also slapped with a $5,000 fine for breaching the rules of the competition.
Actions were taken following comments by players and team officials to match officials after their contentious game against Railway Tigers on Saturday, April 18 at Montego Bay Cricket Club.
WBA vice-president Deon Williams says there are three avenues available to teams within the rules if they wish to make comment but Warrior ignored those avenues.
The sanction against the Warriors represents the maximum punishment that could have been handed down.
