MEDICAL ACCOUNT, with title chasing jockey Dane Nelson, won the Clifford Stewart Memorial Cup, feature event on today’s midweek card at Caymanas Park.

The nine year old chestnut gelding, offering odds of five to two, won the 1200 metres claiming event by four lengths over the favourite CASH PAT with Kerry Perry aboard.

HARMONICS, the mount of Paul Francis was third, while SNOW PROSPECT, with champion jockey Omar Walker ended up fourth.

Ante-post favourite GOOD HOPE was a late non-starter.

Nelson had another winner in LIGHT MY FIRE in the fifth race.

Walker, who entered the day locked at the top of the jockeys’ race with Nelson, has so far ridden three winners to assume sole leadership.

Walker’s winners were SKITTLE QUEEN in the first race, BURNING CIELO in the third and RACING MACHINE in the ninth.
