Bahamas to close luxury resort

Another luxury resort in the Bahamas will close this month, continuing a tough year for the country’s tourism sector.



The government says most of the 500 strong work force at the Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma will be dismissed within 30 days.



Officials say the government is helping in the search for investment to acquire and reopen the hotel.
